  • 4 to 5 ice cubes
  • 1 1/2 fluid ounces Cognac
  • 3/4 fluid ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 fluid ounce triple sec
  • Lemon twist, optional


  1. Place ice and all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker; shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass; twist lemon peel over drink and drop it in.
